Our Mission
The Vaad’s mission is to make kosher food accessible throughout the Greater Kansas City region through kosher certification, supervision, education, and inspection of caterers, food vendors, and food production companies.
Our Beginnings
The Vaad Hakashruth of Kansas City (the Vaad) is a 501 (c) 3 religious tax-exempt organization, founded in 1994 as a result of a growing need for local kosher services and expertise.
